Contract status at 28 August 2010: The southbound lane of the new road opened to traffic on Sunday 15 August. The northbound lane of the new road opened to traffic on Tuesday 24 August. Both carriageways will continue to operate under traffic management (single file traffic in each carriageway) over the next two weeks or so.
