DURING CONSTRUCTION
Broadway
roundabout will remain a signalised junction with varying layouts to maintain the flow of traffic;
two
lanes of traffic in each direction and a dedicated bus lane will be maintained on the M1/Westlink;
full
access will be maintained at Broadway between the M1/Westlink and the local road network.
ON
COMPLETION THE JUNCTION WILL HAVE
a dual 3 lane underpass connecting the M1
to Westlink;
a new roundabout to maintain the existing links with the local
road network and on/off slips to the M1/Westlink in both directions.
BROADWAY TO
GROSVENOR
dual three lane carriageway;
separate
Belfast-bound bus lane and cycleway / footway;
Roden Street junction will
be closed and Mulhouse Road junction will be reduced to ‘left in’ and ‘left out’ movements.
