The three classes of information are:
Customer information
Information
we produce for the purpose of communicating with our customers. Includes: Application forms; information
leaflets; invitations to tender; press releases; public inquiries; reports to councils; traffic, travel
and transport statistics.
Internal communications
Information
providing guidance and advise to staff.
Management and policy information
Information
that we produce as product of our business activities, and how we plan to carry out our responsibilities.
Includes: codes of practice for street works; customer survey reports; corporate documents that have
received board approval; policy and strategy statements; Roads Service Manual; Roads Service work programmes;
senior board meetings.
Regulatory information
This sets
out the legislation under which we carry out our functions. Includes: draft legislation subordinate
legislation (Cycle Routes, Road Races, Bus Lanes etc); primary legislation.
