Restricted Zone Access Permits - Issue and Management - Draft Equality Impact Assessment

Roads Service has issued for public consultation a draft Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) on its existing policy and procedure guide for the issue and management of access permits for restricted (pedestrian) zones, specifically concerning the concessions for Blue Badge holders.

The purpose of this consultation is to obtain:

  • your views on the draft EQIA and the proposed changes to the policy; and
  • any further information which could be useful in assessing equality impacts.

The public consultation exercise on the draft EQIA commenced on Friday 8th January 2010 and will close at 5.00PM on Friday 9th April 2010. If you wish to participate in this consultation exercise, you can view, or download, the draft EQIA below which is provided in both PDF and Word formats. An audio version is also available.

Should you require this document in an accessible format such as Braille, audio format / CD, minority ethnic language etc, please contact us by any of the methods provided below. Paper copies of the document are also available.
