What happens if I am not satisfied with your response to my representation?

If you make a representation to Roads Service, after you receive a notice to owner, and you are not happy with our reasons for rejection you may make an appeal to an independent adjudicator. Along with the Notice of Rejection we will send you information on how to appeal to an independent adjudicator and an appeals form.

You can then either pay the full charge or send the completed appeal form to the Adjudication Service, an independent organisation where an adjudicator who is a lawyer will examine your case. You will not be charged to make an appeal. The decision by the adjudicator is final and binding on both you and Roads Service.
